The scheme of arrangement pursuant to which IGO Nickel Holdings will acquire 100% of the share capital of Western Areas has today been implemented. All Western Area shares have now been transferred to IGO Nickel. Eligible Western Area shareholders have been paid the scheme consideration of A$3.87 cash for each Western Area share held at the scheme record date on 10 June 2022.	20/06/2022
The securities of Western Areas Limited will be suspended from quotation at the close of trading today Wednesday, 8 June 2022 under Listing Rule 17.2, following lodgement of the Supreme Court of Western Australia orders with ASIC approving the scheme of arrangement by which a wholly owned subsidiary of IGO Limited (ASX: IGO) will acquire all of the issued shares in WSA.	08/06/2022
The suspension of trading in the securities of Western Areas Limited will be lifted immediately following the release by WSA of an announcement regarding an update as to the status of the proposed acquisition by IGO Limited of all of the fully paid ordinary shares in WSA by way of a scheme of arrangement under Part 5.1 of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) for a cash amount of $3.36 cash per WSA share.	11/04/2022
Western Areas and IGO have agreed to increase the Scheme Consideration to $3.87 cash per Western Areas share. The Western Areas Board unanimously recommends that Western Areas shareholders vote in favour of the Revised Scheme, in the absence of a superior proposal and subject to an independent expert concluding (and continuing to conclude) that the Revised Scheme is in the best interests of Western Areas shareholders. The key terms of the Revised Scheme otherwise remain the same as the Initial Scheme.	11/04/2022
