we understand that Commonwealth Bank of Australia ("the Group") exchanged all Perpetual Exchangeable Resettable Listed Securities ("PERLS II") for cash on the Rollover Date of 16 March 2009 - the Group acquired all of the PERLS II on issue on 16 March 2009 for cash at the face value of $200 per PERLS II - securities traded as PCBPA	23/03/2009
the securities of PERLS II Trust (the "Trust") will be suspended from quotation at the close of trading today, Tuesday 10 February 2009, at the request of the Trust under listing rule 17.2, following the issue of a Bank Exchange Notice to request redemption of all PERLS II units, in accordance with their terms	10/02/2009
