we understand Paladin Australia Limited, the responsible entity for Paladin Commercial Trust (PDC), entered into a merger agreement with Deutsche Asset Management (Australia) Limited, the responsible entity for Commercial Investment Trust (CIT) to merge the two office trusts - unitholders in the Paladin Commercial Trust were issued with 0.9375 CIT units for each PDC unit - the new units converted to ordinary units on 22 December 2000
