delisted following the merger by scheme of arrangement with Northwest Nonferrous International Limited and Northwest Nonferrous Australia Mining Pty Ltd becoming effective	12/12/2011
we understand that all Meridian shares not already owned by Northwest Australia were transferred to Northwest Australia for the Scheme Consideration of $0.14 per Meridian share which was paid on 9 December 2011	12/12/2011
the Scheme of Arrangement between Meridian and each of its shareholders (Scheme) has been implemented and Northwest Nonferrous Australia Mining Pty Limited (Northwest Australia) has accordingly acquired all of the issued shares in Meridian. Implementation of the Scheme follows approval of the Scheme by Meridian shareholders at the Scheme Meeting held on Wednesday 24 November 2011 and by the Federal Court of Australia on Tuesday 29 November 2011. All Meridian shares not already owned by Northwest Australia have been transferred to Northwest Australia for the Scheme Consideration of $0.14 per Meridian share. The Scheme Consideration has also been paid to Scheme Shareholders today	09/12/2011
