On 14 June 2012, compulsory acquisition notices in the form of ASIC Form 6021 were sent to all remaining Ideas International Limited (Ideas International) shareholders who did not accept the offer made by Gartner Australasia Pty Limited (Gartner) under its off-market takeover bid for all of the ordinary shares in Ideas International (Offer). For the purposes of subsection 662B(1)(d) of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (Corporations Act) attached is a notice in the form of ASIC Form 6022 which provides information about the right of remaining Ideas International shareholders to have their Ideas International shares bought out by Gartner (Buy-out Notice). The Buy-out Notice was today lodged with ASIC. As the compulsory acquisition notice has already been sent to the remaining Ideas International shareholders under section 661B of the Corporations Act, the Buy Out Notice will not be sent to the remaining shareholders (as permitted by subsections 662B(1)(c) of the Corporations Act).
