a former Deputy Executive Chairman of Harts Australasia Limited appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today charged with dishonestly causing detriment to another following an Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) investigation - the Court heard Mr Steven Irvine Hart, of Sunnybank, Queensland, allegedly transferred $5 million out of Harts Australasia to an unrelated company between 29 June 2000 and 4 July 2000 - this money was part of $30 million raised in the public float of Harts Australasia in May 2000 - the funds were allegedly transferred to a bank account in Sydney in the name of Harts Australasia and, subsequently, to Cardinal Financial Services Limited in trust - this money was subsequently lost in speculative trading on futures and derivatives	21/12/2007
Mr Richard Melvyn Hayter, has been committed to stand trial on one count of being knowingly concerned in the company's failure to keep the market informed of an unexpected loss of $9.7 million in 2001 - Mr Hayter was committed in the Brisbane Magistrates Court	21/09/2006
