delisted following completion of the Wesfarmers ownership simplification
29/06/2001
we understand FIF unitholders received one Wesfarmers share for every 2.4851 FIF units they owned (that provided them with a value of $7.85 for each FIF unit) and FIF optionholders received one Wesfarmers share for every 10.5614 FIF options they owned (equivalent to a value of $1.85 for each FIF option) - Wesfarmers believed that the price of Wesfarmers Limited shares at the close of business on the ASX on 23 April 2001, being $22.00 per share, was a reasonable approximation of the market value for the purposes of calculating CGT liability on FIF options
