we understand all outstanding shares were transferred to Lachlan and the options cancelled - the holders of ordinary shares were paid 82.5 cents each and the holders of options were paid 62.5 cents each - this provided an opportunity for Archaean shareholders and option holders to dispose of their holdings on the same terms as were offered by Lachlan in its takeover offer completed in 1996
